The National Adult Protective Services Association (NAPSA) Monthly Scam Advice Forum will be joined this month by Rich Goldberg, Director, DOJ Criminal Division's Cyber Enabled Scam Initiative. He'll describe the schemes his division combats, as well as avenues for cooperation among federal, state, and local authorities, including APS representatives. Rich Goldberg serves as the director of DOJ Criminal Division's Cyber Enabled Scam Initiative. He oversees a variety of initiatives targeting fraudulent telemarketing schemes, internet deception, mass-mailing fraud, unauthorized account charges, and other offenses perpetrated by transnational criminal organizations. He helps coordinate the Scam Center Strike Force, a partnership between the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia and DOJ's Criminal Division, and serves as chair of the Global Antifraud Enforcement Network.
