  • The New York State Office for the Aging's (NYSOFA's) home and community-based programs provide older adults with access to a well-planned, coordinated package of in-home and other supportive services designed to support and supplement informal care.

  • The New York State Office of Victim Services (OVS) has a three-tiered mission to provide compensation to victims of crimes, their family members, and other eligible individuals in a timely, efficient, and compassionate manner, fund direct services to victims of crime and their families through a network of programs across New York State, and advocate for the rights and benefits of all victims of crime.

  • Formed by Lifespan to implement the New York State Elder Abuse Summit Action Agenda, the coalition is a multidisciplinary, statewide network of over 1,800 individuals, organizations and government agencies working together to protect older adults from abuse, neglect and exploitation. Through statewide outreach efforts, the Coalition serves as a catalyst for change, raising awareness and offering solutions for prevention and intervention through education, advocacy and research. Lifespan provides staff support for the Coalition.

  • The National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA) serves as a national resource center dedicated to the prevention of elder mistreatment. First established by the U.S. Administration on Aging (AoA) in 1988 as a national elder abuse resource center, the NCEA was granted a permanent home at AoA in the 1992 amendments made to Title II of the Older Americans Act. To carry out its mission, the NCEA disseminates elder abuse information to professionals and the public, also provides technical assistance and training to states and community-based organizations.

  • NCALL, a national project of End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin: The Wisconsin Coalition Against Domestic Violence, is committed to creating a world that respects the dignity of older adults and enhances the safety and quality of life of older victims and survivors of abuse. NCALL promotes victim-defined advocacy and services for older survivors, fosters coordinated community response teams, advocates for elder justice, raises awareness of abuse in later life and elder abuse, engages in policy development, and partners with organizations that address domestic violence, sexual assault, abuse in later life, and elder abuse.

  • The mission of the Elder Justice Initiative is to support and coordinate the Department of Justice’s enforcement and programmatic efforts to combat elder abuse, neglect, and financial fraud and scams that target our nation’s older adults. The Elder Justice Initiative works to build federal, state, and local capacity to fight elder abuse, promotes justice for older Americans, supports research to improve elder abuse policy and practice, and helps older victims and their families.
