The National Adult Protective Services (NAPSA) Monthly Scam Advice Forum
This month, we’re joined by Dr. Marti DeLiema, gerontologist and associate professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Minnesota. She’ll share findings from her research with the Minnesota Department of Commerce and Adult Protective Services on temporary account holds, including their benefits, limitations, and current issues. She’ll also offer solutions to make holds a more effective intervention for scams. The session will end with a group discussion about balancing safety and financial autonomy.
